Questions People Actually Ask

We've taught hundreds of students since 2021. These are the real questions that come up during enrollment conversations.

Can I switch programs after starting?

Yes. If you begin with Foundation and want to move to Growth before finishing, we apply your payment toward the higher tier. You'll just pay the difference. This happens more often than you'd think—some people get hooked on the material faster than expected.

What if I need to pause my program?

Life happens. You can pause once for up to three months without losing access. Just let us know before the pause, and we'll extend your materials access accordingly. We had a student pause last year when their second child arrived—worked out fine.

Do you offer payment plans?

Growth and Mastery tracks can be split into three monthly payments with no additional fees. Foundation Track is single payment only because the program duration is shorter. Contact us if you need to discuss options.

Is there a refund policy?

Full refund within the first two weeks if you're not satisfied—no questions asked. After that, we can discuss options if something unexpected comes up. We want students who are ready to engage, not people who feel stuck paying for something that isn't working.

What background do I need for Foundation Track?

None. We start with absolute basics. If you understand how a savings account works and can follow financial news headlines, you're ready. Our oldest beginner last year was 67, and she kept up just fine with the younger students.

Can I access previous cohort recordings?

Growth and Mastery students get access to the previous cohort's session recordings as supplemental material. Foundation students can purchase archive access separately for CAD 99. It's useful if you miss a session or want to review specific topics.

Portrait of Lysander Thorpe, investment education student

I started with Foundation Track in October 2024 because I didn't know anything about investing beyond my employer's retirement plan. By January 2025, I'd moved to Growth Track because I wanted more detail on sector analysis. The instructors actually respond to your questions instead of giving generic answers. That made the difference for me—felt like actual education rather than just content delivery.
